Doylestown Election Results Summary
A roundup of Tuesday's election results in Doylestown and Buckingham.
Election results are in and here's an overview of who won, according to the unofficial results from Bucks County:
- Democrat Ronald Strouse has been elected mayor of Doylestown Borough, receiving 51 percent of the vote to defeat Republican Bruce Rutherford.
- Democrats Det Ansinn, Noni West and Wendy Margolis have been re-elected to Borough Council. Democrat Jack O'Brien and Republican Joe Flood have been elected to four-year terms.
- Ken Snyder defeated Republican incumbent E. Thomas Scarborough Jr. to win a seat on the Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors.
- In Buckingham Township, Republican Calderaio defeated Democrat Michael Hutkin.
- In County races, Sheriff Duke Donnelly was re-elected, Republican Patricia L. Bachtle was re-elected as Prothonotary, Raymond F. McHugh was re-elected as County Controller and Joseph Szafran as Recorder of Deeds.
