Bookshop Hosting Young Adult Costume Party

Teens should dress up as their favorite young adult book character during Wednesday's costume and pizza party at the Doylestown Bookshop.

The Doylestown Bookshop will celebrate Teen Read Week Wednesday with a costume and pizza party.

The young adult costume contest and pizza party begins at 6 p.m. at the bookshop. Teens should dress up as their favorite young adult book character. There will be prizes; judging begins at 7 p.m.

Costumes must be related to a source work considered Young Adult Literature. Costumes not related to Young Adult Literature are not eligible for entry or awards. Click here for details.

Teen Read Week is a national adolescent literacy initiative created by the Young Adult Library Services Association, a division of the American Library Association. It is held annually during the third week of October.
