Hi! I have just finished reading many of your Scholasticity articles with great interest. I am not a parent but a god parent and consider myself an influential role model to many children (kids and adults alike!).

I am also a publicist that is working with a local Day camp in Bensalem. As an only child, I went to camp every summer for 6 years and credit those experiences in helping to shape me into the woman I am now. Would you consider writing an article about the best way to choose a summer day camp?

The one I work with is Cherokee Day Camp in Bensalem. The interesting back story is after taking years to choose the perfect camp for their only daughter, the owners were going to retire and sell. So, the parents bought it, refurbished it and are ready to launch their 4th successful summer.

I have found many parents choose camps based on cost and convenience rather than what would better enrich their summer experience. The owners of Cherokee have been so thoughtful in considering the diverse needs of such a large group of children, I think it would make an interesting piece.
I hope you find this as interesting to your readers as I think it would be. Please contact me at alicia@hoffcomm.com or at 610-623-2091. Thanks in advance for your consideration. And thanks for helping me gain a better understanding of what a child needs. (Thanks again!
