A former Wall Street Journal columnist, author and publisher, I grew up in Doylestown and got my career start at the Intelligencer in 1968. After many years away, I returned in 1994 when I discovered that Doylestown had grown up. I worked on some land-preservation campaigns, and then founded and ran The Writers Room of Bucks County from 1999 to 2004.
