Edward Levenson, a graduate of Towson State University in Maryland, has been a journalist since 1980. He was a reporter for The Intelligencer in Doylestown from 1985 to 2007, and has covered Doylestown and the Central Bucks School District, as well as Bucks County government and politics.

A Doylestown resident, he is the historian for the Doylestown Historical Society. He writes about Doylestown history for The Doylestown Correspondent, the society's semi-annual historical newsletter.

He enjoys walking around Doylestown, especially the narrow alleys.
