Starbucks Introduces $1 Reusable Cups

The cups will be cleaned with boiling water at each refill and customers will get $0.10 off their coffee when they reuse.

Starbucks is introducing an affordable way for its customers to reduce waste. The Huffington Post reported that starting today, it will offer $1 reusable cups. Customers who use the cups, which look like the standard paper cups with the Starbucks logo, will get a dime off their beverage. The cups will be cleaned in boiling by Starbucks staff each time they are brought in for use. According to its website, Starbucks has a goal to serve five percent of beverages in personal reusable tumblers by 2015.

Buy One, Get One Free Holiday Drinks at Starbucks this Week

Starbucks launches their Buy One, Share One event today.

Baby, it's getting cold outside, but a coffee between friends can warm up any day. Beginning today, local Starbucks stores will begin the Buy One, Share One event, through Nov 18. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., when you purchase one of Starbucks' holiday beverages – a Caramel Brûlée Latte, Peppermint Mocha, or Gingerbread Latte – you'll get a second one free. Take advantage of the Buy One, Share One event at these local Starbucks stores:

Local Starbucks Shops Offer Digital Network

The coffeeshop's new online experience offers free downloads and a quick link to the local news on DoylestownPatch.

Next time you're waiting for that caramel macchiato at one of Doylestown's Starbucks, launch the web browser on your phone or laptop. When you do, you might find a surprise. The coffee chain has created a new online network offering customers exclusive access to what is normally "premium" (read: paid) content, including music downloads, online news and lifestyle information.
