Doylestown Borough Police are investigating two instances of vandalism that left two local businesses with thousands of dollars in damage to repair. In the first instance, the business sign for Bryner CPA was damaged sometime between 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29 and 3 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30. The sign is valued at about $3,000, according to police reports. That same night, the business sign for the Shops at Taylor Avenue was damaged. Theft A 25-year-old man of Lower York Road, New Hope, was arrested on Tuesday, September 11 at approximately 11:47 AM after he allegedly removed an iPhone from a vehicle that he was assisting in detailing at Jiffy Car Wash. Assault Charges are pending against Margaret Runyan, 49, Orange Street, Media, for allegedly purposely driving her vehicle into a vehicle carrying family members during a domestic occurrence on Memorial Drive in the area of MacFarlane Lane. No one was injured during the event, but the struck vehicle sustained a broken passenger window and a dent to the front passenger door. Doylestown Borough Police said Friday they have cited 25 people for underage drinking after responding to a call early that morning. Police were called out to the area of Sandy Ridge and Stacy drives around 12:26 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, they said. The call was for "two suspicious subjects walking" in the area, according to police reports. That call ended with citations for underage drinking against 25 individuals between the ages of 18 and 20, police said.
