DelVal to Dedicate Veterans Center to Janet Manion
Delaware Valley College will unveil plans for a new campus veterans center named after a fierce local advocate for service members.
Janet Manion dedicated her time and talents to supporting military members and veterans. Now, a new veterans center at Delaware Valley College will do the same - and it will bear her name. On Monday, DelVal president Dr. Joseph Brosnan will unveil plans for the Janet Manion Military and Veterans Center, to be housed on the college's campus. Janet Manion, along with her husband Tom, started the Travis Manion Foundation after their son Travis was killed in Iraq in 2007. Based in Doylestown and run by Travis' sister, Ryan Manion Borek, the foundation works nationwide.
