The oldest high school in Central Bucks, West originally opened in 1952 as the Central Bucks Joint HighMore School. Today, it is one of three high schools in the Central Bucks School District, along with Central Bucks East, in Buckingham and Central Bucks South, in Warrington. It is a three-year school with 10th, 11th and 12th grades; feeder schools include Lenape and Tohicknon Middle Schools.
