The 2,400 square foot atrium inside the mansion can accommodate up to 200 guests and offers an outdoor patio and garden for spring or summer weddings and events. Built in 1927 by leading Doylestown citizens William Jr. and Martha Mercer, the property changed hands several times after Martha's death in 1960. The nonprofit Heritage Conservancy bought the property for $1 and, after a three-year restoration project, reopened it in 1991. Today, the fees from renting the property support the Conservancy's mission of preserving land and historic buildings in Bucks County and beyond.
