The Knight House, located on 96 W. State St., has recently expended to include 86 W. State St. and now serves sushi in addition to its more traditional dishes, such as the Char Grilled New York Strip Steak, Filet Mignon, Surf and Turf, Crab Cakes, Grilled Lamb Chops and Vegetarian Pasta. Originally the home of Jonas Knight in 1846, the restaurant maintained much of its original layout. There is outdoor seating on the front patio and in the garden from April to October, weather permitting. The Knight House hosts weddings, corporate events and private parties. It accepts  inner reservations for seatings between 6pm and 6:30pm and again from 8:30pm to 9pm. All other seating is first come, first served.
