Save the Music Benefit Concerts, Tea Tasting Among Weekend Events

SAVE THE MUSIC
What: Holicong Middle School is organizing its 11th annual Vh-1 Save the Music Benefit Concerts. The show, which this year is called “The City of Brotherly Groove,” will pay tribute to the role that Philadelphia has played in the history of music, according to concert organizers
When/where: Friday and Saturday at Holicong Middle School, 2900 Holicong Rd, Doylestown
Cost:$7 for students; $13 for adults. Click here to purchase tickets in advance

80s NIGHT
What: DJ Ray will be spinning your favorite 80s hits
When/where: Friday at 8 p.m. at the Plumsteadville Inn, 5902 Easton Road, Pipersville
Cost: $10 cover, cash bar. Click here for details 

TEA TASTING
What: The Tubby Olive in Doylestown will be hosting a tea tasting and informational event to kick off its new selection of tea products from Tea-For-All.
When/where: Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Tubby Olive, 6 W State St, Doylestown
Cost: Free

CHRIS WESTFALL CONCERT
What: Chris Westfall, a writer, musician and vocalist, will perform in a coffee house-like setting.
When/where: Saturday at 8 p.m. at Salem United Church of Christ, 186 E. Court St., Doylestown  
Cost: $10

MIRACULOUS ESCAPES
What: Bucks County singer, songwriter, pianist and actress Lori Rosolowsky and the Temple Judea Choir will present Miraculous Escapes, Music and More: A Family’s Story.  Rosolowsky will share stories of her relatives’ unlikely 
escapes from Nazi persecution.
When/where: Sunday at noon at Shir Ami, 101 Richboro Rd, Newtown
Cost: $5 for Newtown Township residents, $7 for the general public. Click here for details. 

THE TALE OF DESPERAUX
What: The County Theater's children's movie series continues with "The Tale of Desperaux."
When/where: Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the County Theater, 20 East State St, Doylestown
Cost: Free for theater members, $4 for the general public
