Pumpkinfest, 5K to Kick Leuk, Open House at BCCC
A look at what's going on this weekend in and around Doylestown.
What: A panel of young adult authors will answer questions, sign copies of books and meet fans. The panel will include: Josh Berk, Kate Brian, Alissa Grosso, E.C. Myers, Jennifer Murgia, Michael Ventrella, Tiffany Schmidt and Nicole Zoltack.

What: The annual event features pumpkin carving, games, food and more. CB Cares Educational Foundation is hosting Pumpkinfest in partnership with the Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation
When/where: Saturday, Oct. 19 from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works.
Cost: $20 per car.
What: Buckingham Friends School will hold the 5th annual 5K Run to Kick Leuk.
When/where: Saturday at 9 a.m. beginning at Buckingham Friends School, routes 202 and 263.
Cost: $30 for 11 and older; $20 for 10 and younger
What: Bucks County Community College is hosting an open house for prospective students and their parents.
When/where: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

What: The Newcomers Club of Central Bucks is hosting an Oktoberfest event for new residents of the area.
