First-Ever Art Days Event is This Weekend

More than 60 participating merchants will partner with local artists to showcase their works.

A new event focusing on local art will be held this week in Doylestown.

Doylestown Art Days, an effort by the Discover Doylestown Committee and local businesses, will be held Thursday through Sunday.

According to organizers, more than 60 participating merchants will be paired with local artists; each place of business will feature selected artists and their work. Many of the participants will host workshops, art demonstrations and performances throughout this long weekend, organizers said.

“The town is essentially being turned into one giant art gallery,” organizers said in a press release.

Maps, listing artists and special events, will be available at participating merchants before and during the Doylestown Art Days event.  "Look for our colorful logo and poster in windows all over town, identifying your path to experiencing this wonderful art walk,” organizers said.
