Cocktails at the Castle Event to Benefit Mercer Museum

Guests will have the chance to sample culinary specialties prepared by area restaurants, caterers, bakeries, wineries and breweries.

What could be more magical than a night of food and drink in a six-story castle?

The Mercer Museum is hosting the second annual Cocktails at the Castle fundraiser on Oct. 11.

Guests will have the chance to sample culinary specialties prepared by area restaurants, caterers, bakeries, wineries and breweries.

Festivities kick off at 6:30 p.m. In addition to refreshments, there will be silent and live auctions, music and dancing.

Food and beverages will be prepared by: Anns Cake Pan, Bowman's Tavern, Bradley Bunch Bakery, Chaddsford Winery, Chive Café, Joseph Ambler Inn, The Lucky Cupcake Company, McCoole's at the Historic Red Lion Inn, Memorable Affairs, Owow Cow Creamery, Park Avenue Pastries, PA Soup and Seafood, Penn Taproom, Pigs and Gigs, Plumsteadville Inn, Sand Castle Winery, The Waterwheel Restaurant and more.

On the auction block will be vacations, a VIP Tour of the Capitol in Harrisburg and a Christmas Celebration in Cape May, theater tickets, gift certificates, gift baskets and more.  Auction items can be previewed at www.bidpal.net/mercercocktails

Cocktails at the Castle tickets can be purchased online at www.bidpal.net/mercercocktails, at the Mercer Museum reception desk or by calling 215-345-0210, ext. 132.  Valet parking will be available.

Tickets for Cocktails at the Castle are $150 per person. Tickets for the VIP Champagne Reception, beginning at 6 p.m., are an additional $75 per person.

Proceeds from Cocktails at the Castle support exhibitions, educational programs, and historic preservation initiatives at Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle.
