Phillies World Series Anniversary Party, Justin Guarini to Perform

MONDAY

Former American Idol finalist Justin Guarini will perform Monday in a concert to support the local food pantry. The concert, which will raise money and canned goods for the Bucks County Housing Group’s Doylestown Food Pantry, will feature Doylestown local Justin Guarini and his funk band, The Payback. Music begins at 9 p.m.

Three local business are planning a party Tuesday to celebrate the five-year anniversary of the Phillies winning the World Series. The event begins at 7 pm at Maxwell's on Main and is also sponsored by Monkey’s Uncle and the Doylestown Bookshop. The celebration is being held on the anniversary of the Phillies game five win in 2008.

WEDNESDAY

"Vampire Blues" will be screened at the County Theater during a special event at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for members; $10 for the public.

THURSDAY

Salem United Church of Christ, 186 E. Court St, Doylestown, is hosting a Halloween party. Enjoy a free evening before or after trick or treating with a haunted walk, hot-dogs, warm apple cider and a little Halloween treat. The free event will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
