Volunteers will unhook the baskets and place them on the ground for pick up and wind the chains that are used to hold the baskets.

A crew of borough workers will take the baskets to the borough's maintenance lot at the bottom of Harvey Avenue.

A few late rising volunteers also are needed to meet at the borough lot starting at 10:30 a.m. to help empty the baskets and stack them for winter storage.

All volunteers should bring work gloves, and early volunteers should also bring a 6-foot ladder, if they have one.

And as usual, the Alliance will supply the fuel, in the form of coffee and donuts.

If you can volunteer to help this Saturday, please call 215-340-9988 or email Margie Adamsky at info@doylestownalliance.org.
