Unusual Ornaments Decorate Hospital's Tree

The handpainted decorations were created by local women as part of a volunteer service project.

Standing in the main lobby of Doylestown Hospital is a tree graced by unique Christmas decorations you probably won't see anywhere else in town.

That's because the hospital's Christmas tree recently was decorated by the talented members of the Keystone State Decorative Painters.

The women painted bell-shaped ornaments with various holiday scenes and winter icons. It's a volunteer effort that brings holiday spirit to the hospital each year, according to hospital spokeswoman Beth Long.
