Signups Open for Kids Castle Volunteers

The Friends of Kids Castle are looking for committee chairs and volunteers to take on the effort to restore the iconic playground in Central Park.

A meeting Wednesday night in Central Park kicked off the effort to save Kids Castle for future kids to enjoy.

The multi-storied wooden castle is in need of renovations and replacement of equipment that has just about reached its expected lifespan, said organizer Dawn Byers.

Volunteers are needed to form the committees and get the effort underway. To sign up as a volunteer, check out the online volunteer form.
