Middle School Relay for Life Expected to Raise $250K

The 10th annual Relay for Life of Central Bucks Middle Schools will be held Saturday at Tohickon Middle School.

The 10th annual Relay for Life of Central Bucks Middle Schools is expected to raise more than a quarter million dollars towards finding a cure for cancer. 

Thousands of Central Bucks middle school students are gearing up for event, which will be held Saturday at Tohickon Middle School.

District Relay For Life Chairperson Bill Senavaitis said he expects about 2,000 students from eighth and ninth grade to join 2,300 adult chaperones and 475 cancer survivors for Saturday’s Relay for Life. He said the event is expected to raise $250,000 for the American Cancer Society.

In the 10 years since the local Relay for Life began, Central Bucks middle school students have raised more than $2 million.
