A local organization has been ranked by The Nonprofit Times as one of the 50 best nonprofits to work for in 2014.
Pearl S Buck International, located in Perkasie, was listed as number 33 in the publication’s list, which ranked nonprofit organizations throughout the nation. The list will be featured in the publication’s April edition.
The list was developed through a survey that assessed leadership, planning, corporate culture, communications, work environment, training, development, pay and benefits.
“We have known for a long time what a committed, passionate workforce we have at Pearl S Buck International and now it is great that others outside the organization will known how they feel about working with us,” organization president and CEO Janet Mintzer said. “To make that list and be among the nation’s best nonprofits is very rewarding.”
Pearl S. Buck International is humanitarian charity founded by Pearl S Buck that aids children through adoption, child sponsorship and multicultural programs.
