Hundreds Make Care Packages for Our Troops

On Saturday the Travis Manion Foundation held its third annual care package stuffing event to support U.S. troops deployed overseas for the holidays.

More than 200 people, young and old, joined together in the cafeteria at to help the Travis Manion Foundation send holiday care packages to deployed Americans overseas. Tina and Jeff Tranauskas of the Travis Manion Foundation told Patch their goal was to make more than 1,200 care packs.
Everything from travel sized toiletries to energy bars and powdered drink mixes were lovingly paired together into care packages for the troops.
