Fiona and Tate Hit Doylestown

Fiona and her first date, Tate, enjoyed a limosuine trip to downtown Doylestown, as part of a promotion by the Holiday House Pet Resort.

Holiday House is running the "Barking Bachelorette" to draw attention to homeless dogs looking for permanent homes.

The group will take Fiona, the "Barking Bachelorette," next to New Hope on Tuesday, June 12. Her second date is with Keno, a 1-year-old Puggle who was rescued from Philadelphia.

The schedule for June 12:

11 a.m. – Fiona and Keno will arrive by limousine at Jake & Elwood’s House of Chews for doggie boutique shopping at 122 South Main St.

11:20 a.m. - “yappetizers” at Bitter Bob’s 110 South Main St., visit to Bow Wow’s 102 C South Main St., a romantic stroll downtown and over the bridge to DeAnna’s Restaurant at 54 North Franklin Street in Lambertville for doggie dessert at 12:45 p.m.

The promotion is designed to draw attention to homeless pets and help Fiona and her "dates" find permanent homes.

About Fiona: Fiona is a sweet, white and caramel-colored hound mix with an outgoing personality and beautiful brown eyes. She is playful and athletic but loves nothing more than to snuggle after a busy day.

The 2-year-old homeless young mother and her puppies were rescued from South Carolina and were lovingly taken in by Partnership for Planned Pets, a rescue organization run by Holiday House Pet Resort in Doylestown. All her pups have found homes, but Fiona is still waiting for her perfect match.

Fiona radiates with southern charm and congeniality…and loves to give kisses. She enjoys playing, running, treats, and learning new things. She adores children and is eager to please! Most importantly, she is looking for love and to live “yappily ever after.”

About Tate: Tate is a ruggedly handsome, happy-go-lucky, 2-year-old Shepherd mix who shares southern roots with our Bachelorette. He is smart, spunky and loves to please.

Tate is active and attentive and would excel in obedience training and on the jogging trail. Ever the socialite, Tate loves the company of other dogs and people. His spontaneity and zest for life make him stand out from the crowd.
