Bolla Honored for Service to A Woman's Place

He gave more than 30 years of legal services free to the only Bucks County agency dedicated to helping victims of domestic abuse.

An attorney with a Doylestown law firm recently was honored for dedicating more than three decades of service to A Woman's Place.

The Doylestown-based group is the only agency in Bucks County devoted solely to the issues of domestic violence.

The board of directors of A Woman's Place honored William J. Bolla, for the more than 30 years in which he donated legal services to the agency.

Bolla served on the agency's board of directors during its early years from 1976 to 1983. He also served as its counsel until December 31, 2011, when he retired from that position.

"A Woman’s Place is an amazing organization that I am proud to have worked with for the last 30 years," Bolla said in a statement. "They have made a tremendous impact upon the lives of thousands of women."
