Tighter Security at Eagles Games Limits Fans

Bleed green, yes. Bring a big bag to Eagles games, no. A new policy limits what fans can carry into NFL stadiums.

Eagles fans, take note: Bring your chants, bring your heckling, bring your keys and wallet. But don’t bring much else to cheer on the Eagles this season.

New security rules at Lincoln Financial Field severely restrict what fans can bring into the stadium, CBS Philly reports. It’s part of a new NFL “Be Clear” policy that isn’t unlike airport security.

So how can you fly on road to victory without getting held up at security? Items should fit into a gallon-sized, clear plastic bag or you can’t bring them inside the Linc. Women prone to large bags should especially take note: Purses should be limited to hand-sized.

And too bad for your aching tush: seat cushions aren’t allowed either (along with coolers, briefcases, backpacks, luggage or camera bags.)

Don't get tossed from the games for being unruly, either, or you could have to take a Fan Conduct Course before you're allowed back in.
