12TH Annual New-Hope Solebury 5K Spirit Run

On Sunday, April 3, 2011, join hundreds of runners for the 12th Annual New Hope-Solebury 5k Spirit Run. The race also includes a one-mile Fun Run, open to all ages. Registration online is $25 and closes March 26, 2011. Late participants may register up until day of race for $30. Discounts for family members are available. Rain or shine, the event kicks-off at the New Hope-Solebury Upper Elementary School. The 5k race commences at 9:15 a.m. and the one-mile Fun Run starts earlier at 8:15 a.m. Packet pick-up for the race begins on Thursday, March 31 and continues through April 2, at the Bucks County Running Co. located at 25 West State Street, Doylestown. All pre-registered participants will receive a race day Technical t-shirt.

Prizes awarded include cash prizes to the top male and female finishers; a pair of Oakley sunglasses to first place master male and female finishers; and a free pair of Muzino sneakers for every 100th runner across the finish line.

One hundred percent of the proceeds raised during both races go to the New Hope-Solebury athletic teams and the Home and School Associations.
