CB High Schools Among Top-40 in Pa., Report Says

Central Bucks East, West and South were named in the top-40 Pennsylvania high schools by U.S. News & World Report.

All three Central Bucks high schools have been ranked amongst the top 40 high schools in Pennsylvania by U.S. News & World Report.

CB West placed the highest, landing at number 26 (887 nationally), with CB East right behind at 27 (905 nationally). CB South rounded out the trifecta at 33 (1,071 nationally).

U.S. News joined forces with the American Institutes for Research, a D.C.-based organization, to evaluate schools on overall student performance on state-mandated assessments, as well as how effectively schools educated their black, Hispanic and economically disadvantaged students. Performance on Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams was then used to determine the degree to which schools prepare students for college-level work.
