Doyle Elementary School students on Tuesday received their customary personal welcomes from principal Susan Salvesen and 6th grade ambassadors as Doylestown-area schools headed back into session.
Schools in the Central Bucks School District began a day later than originally planned. Several schools in the district experienced power outages Monday in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene.
Children in kindergarten through 6th, as well as 7th graders and 10th graders started school today.
