Doylestown Forum to Address Sandy Hook Response

The forum will offer guidance on how to help local kids with questions about the school shooting in Conn. before they return to school on Monday.

Since Friday, parents have struggled with how to talk to their children about the shooting at a Connecticut school that left 28 people dead.

On Sunday, parents, guardians, teachers and anyone else concerned about the issue is invited to a forum in Doylestown to discuss that response.

Doylestown Parent Connection will hold a forum Sunday in the Oscar Martin room at the former Moose lodge at 127 E. State St., Doylestown. It starts at 1 p.m.

Local child psychologists, medical professionals and spiritual leaders will lead a discussion on how to most appropriately address childrens' questions, fears and anxiety before they return to school on Monday.
