Central Bucks Schools to Close Early Tuesday

A winter storm warning is in effect as of 10 a.m.

Central Bucks Schools will close early Tuesday due to snow. There will be no after school activities or afternoon kindergarten.

According to an announcement posted on the district's website, high school and middle school students will dismiss at 11:45 a.m.

The following elementary schools will dismiss at 12:55 p.m.: Bridge Valley, Cold Spring, Doyle, Gayman, Jamison, Mill Creek, Pine Run and Titus Elementary.

Buckingham and Kutz Elementary will dismiss at 1:10 p.m.

Barclay, Butler, Groveland, Linden, Warwick will dismiss at 1:25 p.m. 

A winter storm warning is in effect as of 10 a.m. Snow is expected to blanket the area in late morning, with the heaviest snowfall expected in the afternoon and evening, the National Weather Service says.

According to the National Weather Service, five to nine inches of snow is expected to fall today. The temperatures will be in the 20s.
