Central Bucks Board to Vote on $215K Superintendent Salary

The agenda for Wednesday's Central Bucks School Board meeting includes consideration of a contract for Superintendent David Weitzel.

The Central Bucks School Board will consider paying its new superintendent an annual salary of $215,000 at a meeting Wednesday. 

According to school watch dog group Central Bucks Engage, in addition to the $215,000 base salary, the three-year contract would provide Superintendent David Weitzel and his wife five years of health benefits after retirement. 

Upon retirement, Weitzel will be paid $50 per day for unused sick days, up to $7,500, according to information distributed by Central Bucks Engage.
