The Central Bucks School Board will consider paying its new superintendent an annual salary of $215,000 at a meeting Wednesday.
According to school watch dog group Central Bucks Engage, in addition to the $215,000 base salary, the three-year contract would provide Superintendent David Weitzel and his wife five years of health benefits after retirement.
Upon retirement, Weitzel will be paid $50 per day for unused sick days, up to $7,500, according to information distributed by Central Bucks Engage.
The meeting begins 7:30 p.m. at the Central Bucks Educational Services Center, 16 Welden Drive, Doylestown. Click here to view the full agenda.
