Veteran ID Discount Card Sign Up is Tuesday

Tuesday's signup even will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bensalem Township Building, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem.

Bucks County Recorder of Deeds staff will visit five locations in the upcoming week as the office continues to take the Veterans ID Discount Card program on the road.  

Veterans will have the opportunity to receive a free ID card on the following dates: 

  • Tuesday, April 22, 6 to 8 p.m., Bensalem Township Building, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem
  • Friday, April 25, 10 a.m. to noon, Middletown Senior Center, 2140 Trenton Rd, Levittown
  • Saturday, April 26, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., John Rivers Veteran Center, 41 Belmont Ave, Quakertown 

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209.  

To date, more than 1,090 Bucks County businesses have agreed to offer substantial veterans discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to those holding the Bucks County Veterans ID card, and more are signing up to participate each day.

To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Discount Card Program, please call Crystal Boose in the county Recorder of Deeds office at 215-348-6017 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part. A list of participating businesses is available on the official county website as well.
