Township residents can bring yard waste to the Central Park entrance located off of New Britain Road between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Bringing the yard waste to the composting site helps keep old leaves and yard waste out of landfills.

Acceptable materials include any leaf and yard waste, including small brush, leaves, sticks and limbs. The township asks that any limbs are small enough that one man can carry them.

The waste may be dropped off in any container, but the township will no longer be shredding biodegradable bags.

The remaining collection dates for 2012 are: October 20, November 17, and December 15.
