The proposed project calls for:

  • realigning the intersection of State Street and Route 202 to create a T-intersection
  • widenening the intersection of Route 313 (Swamp Road) and Route 202 to provide left and right turn lanes;
  • widenening Route 202 between Route 313 (Swamp Road) and Mechanicsville Road to provide shoulders.

The project is currently in final design and is expected to start construction in fall 2013 and finish in late 2014.
