Retirement Party for Outgoing Mayor Libby White Planned

The party will be held Jan. 5; RSVP by Dec. 27.

Friends and colleagues of outgoing Mayor Libby White are holding a retirement party to celebrate her years of service.

The celebration will take place on Jan. 5 at the Warrington Country Club in Doylestown Township. The party will go from 1 to 5 p.m. Mayor-elect Ron Strouse will MC the event.

The party is open to everyone in the community, said Maggie Wallace-Cullen, who is helping to organize the event. "We are expecting 200-plus people to attend," she added.

The cost to attend is $50 per person and includes passed hors d'oeuvres, various food stations, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages. A cash bar will be available.
