Residents and business owners in the downtown area are especially encouraged to attend the meeting on Monday.

PECO officials are scheduled to update Doylestown Borough council members and the public next week on the utility's efforts to investigate and improve the reliability of electric service downtown.

Company representatives will give a presentation to the Public Works and Administration Committee of Doylestown Borough Council.

The meeting will be Monday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. at Doylestown Borough Hall.

Borough officials said Wednesday that PECO will "provide an overview of what has been accomplished thus far as well as the results of their analysis that may lead to significant additional work after the New Year."
