Why do you want to serve on the Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors?

As a lifelong resident of the Township, a taxpayer and a mother of two small children, I want to ensure that Doylestown Township remains a vibrant community for today and the future. Stepping forward to run for this seat is the best way that I know to turn my commitment to the future of our community into action.

What would you like to see happen on the property at York and Swamp roads, which developer Joe Grasso has been tussling over with the township for years?

Doylestown Township has been dealing with this issue for some time, with our Supervisors making certain to include residents in the process. The issue has also been before the courts, with a decision favoring the Township, and resident, position.

Despite this, the developer has continued to put forth proposals that I believe are wrong for our community. As Supervisor, I will work with residents and the developer to reach a final proposal that meets all Township ordinances, addresses the concerns of residents, and preserves the character of our Township.

What are the most important issues facing Doylestown Township today?

Like taxpayers and businesses across our state and country, Township government faces the challenge of meeting its needs while facing diminishing revenues. I will bring common sense and a proven business and management background to this effort to ensure continuing, quality services in a fiscally disciplined manner that protects taxpayers.
