Main St. to Be Repaved Beginning Tuesday, Parking Restrictions in Place

There will be no parking on Main Street from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. as crews complete the paving through July 25.

Main Street in Doylestown Borough will be repaved starting Tuesday night, officials announced. PennDOT crews will be doing milling, base repair, resurfacing and curb ramp installation on the road from Veterans Lane to south of Clemens Road.

There will be no parking on Main Street from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Friday, July 25 as crews complete the paving. 

In addition to the parking restrictions, PennDOT said through Aug, 1, one lane will be closed on Main Street from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. weekdays lines from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m.

Through July 25, one lane will be closed on Main Street from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Then again from Aug. 4 through the end of August, one lane will be closed on Main Street for curb ramp installation from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., PennDOT said.

This operation to resurface and improve Main Street is part of PennDOT’s $13 million project to repair and repave 23 state highways in Bucks County. Motorists are advised to allow additional time for travel on each roadway during resurfacing operations, PennDOT said.
