Got Trash? Buckingham Cleanup Days Are This Weekend

Get rid of trash and take advantage of free shredding this weekend in Buckingham.

It's the perfect weekend to clean out the garage.

That's because this Saturday and Sunday, it's Buckingham Spring Cleanup Days.

Buckingham Township residents can drop off household trash at the township maintenance building from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. The maintenance building is located at 4991 Upper Mountain Road.

Hazardous waste, paints and propane tanks will not accepted.  Computer monitors and TVs cost $10 for disposal. Tires are also accepted for a fee.

Plus, there will be free shredding on Saturday from 9 am to noon. There's a limit to four boxes per household; no businesses permitted.

Starting at 9 a.m., free trash bags will be handed out for participation in the annual roadside cleanup along Upper Mountain Road, sponsored by the Township Environmental Advisory Council.

Volunteers will pick up trash along Upper Mountain Road between Quarry Road and Route 413, and other areas as turnout and time allow.  Meet at the gravel pullout next to the railroad tracks.
