Doylestown Township News and Notes for October

The township's Community Yard Sale will be held October 6, 2012 at Central Park on the tennis courts from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Seller registrations were due by Sept. 15.) Rain date is Sunday, October 7th.

There will be a special meeting of the Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors and the Public Water & Sewer Advisory Committee on October 3, 2012 at 7 p.m. regarding the recommendation for public sewers in Pebble Ridge. The meeting will be held in the main meeting room of the township municipal building.

The Doylestown Township administration offices will be closed on Monday, October 8, 2012 in observance of Columbus Day.

The Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors will hold a budget work session on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 4 p.m. The meeting will be held in the main meeting room of the township building. The public is encouraged to attend.

The next meeting of the Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012.

Doylestown Township Leaf and Yard Waste Recycling  will be held on October 20, 2012 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. This event will be held at Central Park, near the New Britain Road entrance, and is for township residents only. Click here for more details on leaf and yard waste recycling.

Howl-O-Ween will be held October 20, 2012, at the Doylestown Dog Park starting at 10 a.m. It features pet-related exhibitors, activities, demonstrations and contests in multiple categories, including "Best in Show."
