Doylestown Borough Council Agenda Set

Tonight's agenda includes discussions of a proposal to form a regional police force and a challenge to Act 13.

Doylestown Borough Council members will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at borough hall.

Items on the agenda include a discussion of the proposal to form the Central Bucks Regional Police Force, with Doylestown Township, New Britain Borough, New Britain Township and Plumstead Township.

Council members also are expected to honor Stu Abramson and Lynn Goldman for their work on the Doylestown Bicentennial Celebration.

They also will discuss challenging Act 13, Pennsylvania's controversial law regulating natural gas drilling, also called fracking.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in council chambers at borough hall. The public is encouraged to attend.
