Buckingham Officials Make Reappointments to Township Boards
While many slots are filled, volunteers are still needed to sit on a handful of township committees.
Buckingham officials made several reappointments to various township boards at its reorganization meeting Monday night.

Supervisors Maggie Rash and Jon Forest also will serve one-year terms as governing body representatives on the Agricultural Preservation Committee and the Agricultural Security Area Advisory Commission, respectively.
A handful of vacancies on six volunteer committees are still up for grabs.
Empty seats are on:
Sewer and Water Commission (one vacancy)
Park & Recreation Commission (one vacancy)
Technical Code Review Board of Appeals (one vacancy)
Environmental Advisory Commission (one vacancy)
Historic Commission (two vacancies)
Historic Architectural Review Board (four vacancies)
The only stipulation to serve on any of the boards is that the person applying must be a township resident, according to township manager Dana Cozza.
Some members do have a background in the area of interest that the committee represents, she said, but experience is not required – only a desire to serve.
