Borough Replacing Water Meters, Residents Should Make Appointment

The cost of the meter replacement will be paid for by Doylestown Borough.

Doylestown Borough is installing new water meters in every home and business in town. The project is underway and is about halfway done, according to information posted on the borough website.

“The cost of the new meter, meter interface units and associated installation will be borne by the Borough,” the website said.

Contractor Lenegan Plumbing and Heating will be installing the replacement water meters or interface units.

Notices were sent to each resident and business to schedule an installation appointment with Lenegan.  To schedule an appointment, contact Lenegan Plumbing and Heating, LLC at 1-855-892-3830 or by email at LENEGAN@ocnjplumber.com.

“All installation technicians will have appropriate photo identification and be uniformed with company logo attire,” the website said. “Doylestown Borough would like to thank you for your cooperation as we modernize our meter reading system.”
