Woman Charged With Stealing From Tip Jar

And one is charged with DUI and another with stealing from Kohl's

Doylestown Township Police responded to the following recent incidents:

Theft and Receiving Stolen Property

On Jan. 13 at 4:40 p.m., the department responded to a theft complaint at a commercial establishment at 1745 South Easton Road. Investigation determined that a customer, Michelle Tomkinson, 40, of Sellersville, had stolen money out of the tip jar on the counter. The above charges were filed before District Judge Mark Douple on Jan. 17.

Driving Under Influence of Alcohol Controlled Substance

On Jan. 18 at 12:40 a.m., a vehicle was observed traveling on Route 611 at 65 in a 45 MPH speed zone. The driver, Galene Horiates, 36, of Broomall, had the odor of an alcoholic beverage about her. She failed to satisfactorily perform field sobriety tests. She was placed under arrest. She provided blood samples for testing. The above charges were filed before District Judge Mark Douple on Jan. 18.

Retail Theft, Receiving Stolen Property and False Identification to law Enforcement Authorities

On Jan. 19 at 11:30 a.m., the department was called to Kohl’s Department Store, 1745 Easton Road for a report of retail theft. Investigation determined that Richard Frazier, 46, of Philadelphia, had removed various items including clothing valued at $1,128. He was arrested and arraigned before District Judge Mark Douple on the above charges. Bail was set at $75,000 or 10%. He was lodged in in lieu of bail.
