Woman Arrested With 15 Packets of Heroin

She and another woman also are accused of stealing from Rite Aid.

Theft

Kathleen Paulino, 51, Preston Road, Milford, NJ, and Stacey Paulino, 22, no fixed abode, were arrested on Wednesday, January 25 at about 8:54 p.m. after they allegedly removed merchandise from without attempting to pay for the items.

Merchandise included several CDs, various pieces of jewelry, a flat iron, and nail polish. The items are valued at approximately $200.

Both women are also charged with receiving stolen property.

In addition, Stacey Paulino is charged with possession of a controlled substance after she was found in possession of 15 packets of suspected heroin.

The women were arraigned before District Justice Nasshorn and remanded to .

Drug Violations

Stephen Ulasewicz, 19, Main Street, Doylestown, was arrested on Thursday, January 26 at approximately 2:26 p.m. after officers observed a large glass pipe commonly used for smoking marijuana, a digital scale, and two grinding stones in his apartment while they were serving a warrant for an unrelated incident.

Driving Under the Influence

Richard Abbamont, 52, Deep Creek Way, Doylestown, was arrested on Thursday, January 26 at approximately 11:15 p.m. after he was observed driving his vehicle above the posted speed limit on Main Street in the area of Broad Street.

During the traffic stop, Abbamont was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Abbamont was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests.

Theft

Charges have been filed against a 16-year old male student at for allegedly stealing 37 $1 silver certificates from another student’s backpack on Thursday, January 26 at approximately noon.

Driving Under the Influence

Terry Calderaio, 43, Rosemont Terrace, Furlong, was arrested on Friday, January 27 at approximately 11:12 p.m. after the vehicle she was driving allegedly struck three parked vehicles in the area of State Street and Printers Alley and then left the scene.

Calderaio was located shortly after the accident. During the accident investigation, she was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication.

Calderaio was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests.

Public Drunkenness

Ian Gundry, 22, Steeplechase Drive, Doylestown, was cited on Saturday, January 28 at approximately 1:59 a.m. after he was allegedly observed screaming in the area of Main Street and Oakland Avenue.

Gundry was also cited for disorderly conduct.

Weapons Violation

Jason Elsing, 24, Crestland Terrace, Doylestown, was arrested on Saturday, January 28 at approximately 8:53 p.m. after he was found to possess a spring-assisted knife during an investigation of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Chapman Center.

Elsing is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, as he was found in possession of a small pipe commonly used for smoking marijuana.

Theft

James Horne, 66, Shady Grove Circle, Doylestown, was arrested on Tuesday, January 31 at approximately 2:11 p.m. after he allegedly attempted to remove numerous items from the without attempting to pay for the items.

Items included various food, pet, and household products valued at $69.15.

Horne was also cited for disorderly conduct.

Theft

Ann Berriman, 55, Piccadilly Circle, Doylestown, was arrested on Tuesday, January 31 at approximately 8:37 p.m. after she allegedly attempted to remove a bottle of whiskey from the Wine and Spirit Shop without attempting to pay for the item.

Additional charges are pending, as officers are investigating whether Berriman removed two additional bottles of whiskey on two prior dates, as reported by store representatives.

The three bottles are valued at approximately $188.97.

Theft

A representative from Monkey’s Uncle reported that a male removed two Flyers t-shirts and a Flyers hat from a sidewalk display on Wednesday, February 1 at approximately 10:45 a.m.

The male is described as having tattoos on both forearms, last seen wearing an orange t-shirt, an orange and black hat, light colored jeans, white sneakers, and carrying a backpack.

The missing merchandise is valued at approximately $166.
