Woman Arrested for Cashing Forged Check, Possessing Heroin

Melissa Losinger, 25, has been charged with forgery, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Doylestown Borough Police arrested a 25-year-old woman Monday after she allegedly chased a stolen check and was found in possession of heroin.

Melissa Losinger, 25, of Telford, was arrested at approximately 2:50 p.m. after police said she cashed a $1,500 check that she had stolen from a relative and 
fraudulently made payable to herself.

During Losinger’s interaction with officers, she was found in possession of syringes and two packets of suspected heroine. 

She is being charged with forgery, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
