Widespread Power Outages Mostly Repaired

At one point Monday afternoon, 31,300 people in the region were without power.

Power outages that at one point Monday impacted 31,300 customers in Bucks County have been mostly repaired, according to PECO.

As of 6:30 p.m. on Monday, PECO's outage map listed 1,100 customers without power in Bucks County. At one point Monday afternoon, 31,300 people in the region were without power.  

Communities impacted by the outages included Doylestown, Buckingham, Upper Makefield, Newtown, Warminster, Northampton and Wrightstown. As of Monday evening, outages were still reported in Wrightstown, Upper Makefield and Warminster.

Around 3 p.m. Monday, more than 4,200 customers in Doylestown Township and more than 3,500 in Doylestown Borough were without power. 

According to officials, the outage was caused by an issue at the Buckingham substation.
