Two Charged with Retail Theft

Kohl's suffered two major shoplifting incidents this month, police said.

Doylestown Township Police have charged two women with retail theft after two major incidents this month at the Kohl's Department Store.

In the first incident, police say Mary Laure Pallanti, 40, of Warrington, had removed various items, including clothing, valued at $1,311.

That theft happened on Nov. 11, at about 11:55 p.m. at the at 1745 Easton Road, police said.

Pallanti was arrested and arraigned before District Judge John Kelly. Bail was set at $20,000 unsecured.
 
In the second incident, police say Stephanie Paris, 33, of Jamison, had removed items of clothing valued at $962.

That theft happened on Nov. 23 at Kohl's also at about 11:55 p.m., police said.

Paris was arrested and arraigned before District Judge Robert Gaffney.

Bail was set at $5,000 or 10 percent. Paris was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail, police said.
