Two Charged with DUI

Doylestown Township police cited two men for driving under the influence recently.

Driving Under Influence of Alcohol

On Feb. 23 at 9:30 p.m., the department investigated a reported accident on the Route 611 Bypass.

Investigation determined that Thomas McAdams, 23, of Doylestown, had the odor of an alcoholic beverage about him. He failed to satisfactorily perform field sobriety tests. He was arrested and provided blood samples for testing.

The above charge was filed before District Judge Mark Douple on Feb. 24.

Driving Under Influence of Alcohol and related charges

On Feb. 24 at 2:20 a.m., a vehicle was observed traveling on Route 611 swerving in the lane of travel.

The driver, John McKissock, 23, of Doylestown, had the odor of an alcoholic beverage about him. He failed to satisfactorily perform field sobriety tests. He was arrested and provided blood samples for testing.
