Three Charged with DUI

Doylestown Borough Police roundup three for DUI and two for public drunkenness, all men, on St. Paddy's Day weekend.

  • A 40-year-old man of Louise St. Claire Drive, Doylestown, was arrested for DUI on Friday, March 15 at approximately 1:25 a.m., after the vehicle he was driving was stopped for allegedly failing to signal a turn at the intersection of Maple Avenue and East Street.
  • A 58-year-old man of Stillwater Circle, Doylestown, was arrested for DUI on Sunday, March 17 at approximately 7:54 p.m. after he allegedly failed to stop his vehicle at the posted stop sign at the intersection of Veterans Lane and Atkinson Drive.
  • A 21-year-old man, of Oak Avenue, Chalfont, was arrested for DUI on Saturday, March 16 at approximately 2:15 a.m. after he was stopped for allegedly driving his vehicle the wrong way on Oakland Avenue in the area of Main Street. Subject also charged with drug violations for allegedly having a suspected marijuana cigarette in his vehicle, as well as disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
  • A 34-year-old man, of Groveland Road, Pipersville, was arrested on for public drunkennessSunday, March 17 at approximately 12:55 a.m. after he allegedly engaged in a verbal altercation with another man on the tens block of W. State Street. The man was also charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief. 
  • A 29-year-old-man, of Yuma Lane, Ringwood, NJ, was arrested for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct for his participation in the verbal altercation above.
